Lexi Eddings is...darn, I'm having writer's block. Telling someone else's story is child's play. Telling my own...well, let's just say I'm not sure there's much you'd find interesting. I'm a college grad, a wife, a mother and life is generally good. In my world, all the angst and drama (and most of the mayhem!) tends to happen on the pages of my manuscripts.
When I was a kid, I used to sneak books into bed to read by the slice of light streaming in from the door crack. Fictional people were my friends. I was entranced by Trixie Belden, Jo March, and Anne (with an e!) Shirley--strong, smart heroines who made the most of their worlds. Now that's the sort of heroine I write, like Lacy Evans in The Coldwater Warm Hearts Club, my first small town story with a little romance, a little laughter and a few tears. Hope you enjoy my brand of Ozark snark.
Some of my favorite things:
1. My husband
2. My kids
3. My dogs (see Found Pets!)
4. My travel (Yep, that's me in Bermuda.)
5. My Kindle Fire (no more door crack light for me!)
6. The magic that happens when I wonder "What if..."

In 2010, I was diagnosed with a chronic lung disease. It's not something I want to clutter up my website, but I do occasionally post about dealing with illness on a separate blog. If you or someone you love is facing a health challenge, I invite you to visit me at Second Wind. My goal is to live each day with a cheerful heart.
